Midwest Heritage Moves Up Three Spots to 27th on Top 200 Healthiest Banks in America List

Midwest Heritage, a subsidiary of Hy-Vee, Inc., is pleased to announce that it has been ranked 27th out of 6,998 banks across the United States in this year’s Top 200 Healthiest Banks in America List by DepositAccounts.com.  This latest recognition is in addition to Midwest Heritage maintaining its “Bauer Five Star ‘Superior’ Rating” for financial strength.

DepositAccounts.com is the largest and most comprehensive online U.S. publication dedicated to banking and depository savings information for consumers. Every year, the publication evaluates the financial health of every federally insured bank in the country — more than 6,998 total. Each institution is graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth and loan to reserve ratios, in order to determine a comprehensive health score. DepositAccounts.com recognizes those institutions that have shown exceptional fiduciary responsibility in its annual edition of the Top 200 Healthiest Banks in America. In the 2014 report, Midwest Heritage ranked 30th.

“Midwest Heritage is excited to be ranked the 27th healthiest U.S. bank of the over 6,900 banks nationwide,” said Tony Kaska, president of Midwest Heritage.   “We are proud of our accomplishments and our continued growth. Receiving such a distinction two years in a row speaks volumes to the commitment of our employees and our board of directors.”
