Midwest Heritage, a Hy-Vee Company, breaks ground on new branch in Grimes
December 6, 2021 - GRIMES, IA - Midwest Heritage, a Hy-Vee Company, broke ground on Dec. 2 for its newest branch at 221 N.E. Gateway Drive in Grimes, located next to the new Grimes Hy-Vee store. Construction is in progress on the two-story building, with the opening slated for fall of 2022.
Midwest Heritage's leadership team, board members and team members gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking for this exciting new facility and speak on what the expansion means for the future of the company. The Midwest Heritage team was joined by the Grimes Chamber & Economic Development, as well as community leaders.

The new state-of-the-art branch will be the financial institution's ninth branch location in the Midwest and will offer customers greater convenience for their banking, insurance, and investments needs. The new branch will provide the same excellent customer service that Midwest Heritage customers have come to expect, and will feature several automated and self-service options. The lobby will offer walk-up teller service and safe deposit boxes, while an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) will be available for drive-up service.
